EMPLOYMENT AND VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Public Health Nurse I or II (dependent on years of service)
Improves population health by emphasizing prevention and the social determinants. Includes advocacy, policy development, and health planning, and addresses issues of social justice and health equity. 

Secretary I or Secretary II (dependent on years of service)
Provides assistance with bookkeeping tasks, organizes and maintains filing systems, categorizes materials and searches files, compiles information from records, types reports and correspondence for the staff, copies materials and gathers information on general and technical subjects, assists the public, and participates in agency training activities.

Emergency Preparedness Planner

Responsible for for management of the Butler County Medical Reserve Corps, a volunteer group, while partnering with established community agencies to implement public health response plans.

Registered Environmental Health Specialist and Program Coordinator (RESH II)

Coordinates plan reviews for community and business developments while also serving as the lead training facilitator for ServSafe and new Environmental Health employees.
